After July 1, 1998, a judgment in a dispossessory case must be appealed within seven (7) days from the date the judgment is entered by the court. Once appealed, the case will be placed on the court`s next calendar for a nonjury hearing. If a jury trial is desired it must be requested within thirty (30) days from the filing of the appeal.
