First, the Committee on Professional Discipline will review all of the evidence presented by the complainant and the responding doctor. Then the Committee will make a recommendation to the Board of Medicine. If the Board finds that there is a “provable pattern of unfavorable practice” then the Board may impose formal disciplinary action against the doctor.
