What Documents and Supporting Information are Required to be Submitted with a Divorce Petition in Utah?

Utah divorce complaints must be in writing and signed by the petitioner or petitioner’s attorney.  The complaint may be accompanied by an affidavit.  If the divorcing parties have minor children then a certificate must be presented indicating that they have completed the mandatory parenting course. (Utah Code Title 30 Husband and Wife Chapter 3 Divorce Section 4)
