What Documents and Supporting Information are Required to be Submitted with a Divorce Petition in Pennsylvania

The information required to be filed with the divorce complaint is determined by each county in Pennsylvania. If the divorce is not contested then the divorce complaint should be accompanied by an Affidavit of Consent, a Property Settlement Agreement and required court fees. Divorce complaints may also require a cover sheet called the notice to defend and claim rights, acceptance of service, affidavit of consent, a waiver of notice of intention to request entry of divorce decree, a praecipe to transmit record, and a decree to be signed by the judge.
