What recourse does an employee have under Wisconsin law if he or she is unable to obtain his or her final paycheck from a former employer?

If an employee is unable to obtain his or her final paycheck from a former employer, the employee can file a Labor Standards Complaint Form with the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development, Equal Rights Division, Labor Standards Bureau within two (2) years of the date on which the wages are earned.
