Normally, if you properly maintain your bank accounts, ChexSystems will not be an issue for you. However, sometimes banks erroneously report consumers to ChexSystems, and other times consumers are negatively reported because they are unaware that they are being defrauded until it's too late. This is why it's good to be aware of what ChexSystems is, what can happen if you happen to be reported to them, and what recourse you have once are you are reported.
