      <title>What Is Considered A Reasonable Number Of Repair Attempts?</title>

      <description>The Arizona lemon law establishes a presumption that a reasonable number of attempts has been undertaken to conform a motor vehicle to the applicable express warranties if, during the shorter of the term of the express warranty, or the period of two years or 24,000 miles following the date of the motor vehicle`s original delivery to the consumer, whichever is earlier, either of the following occurs:&lt;ul&gt;The same nonconformity has been subject to repair four or more times by the manufacturer, its agents or authorized dealers but the nonconformity continues to exist.&lt;li&gt;The motor vehicle is out of service for repair for a cumulative total of 30 or more calendar days.&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p&gt;The term of an express warranty, the two year period, and the 30 day period are extended by any period of time during which repair services are not available to the consumer because of war, invasion, strike, fire, flood, or other natural disaster.</description>

      <title>What Is The Lemon Law?</title>

      <description>Arizona`s Motor Vehicle Warranties Law is also referred to as a Lemon Law.  The law applies only to new motor vehicles.  A.R.S. &amp;sect;44&amp;shy;1262.  If a new motor vehicle does not conform to express warranties, the consumer can report the nonconformity within one year following the date of original delivery to the consumer or during the term of the express warranty, whichever is earlier, to the manufacturer or authorized dealer and have the motor vehicle repaired.  A.R.S. &amp;sect;44&amp;shy;1262.  If manufacturer or motor vehicle cannot be made to conform to the express warranty after a reasonable number of attempts, the manufacturer must replace the motor vehicle or refund the consumer the full purchase price less a reasonable allowance for the consumer`s use of the motor vehicle.  A.R.S. &amp;sect;44&amp;shy;1263. A reasonable number of attempts is defined as if the same nonconformity has been repaired by the authorized dealer or manufacturer more than four times during the allotted time frame but continues to exists or the motor vehicle is out of service for a cumulative total of thirty or more calendar days during the allotted time.  A.R.S. &amp;sect;44&amp;shy;1264.</description>
