How Do I Know If My Employer Is Covered By Workers' Compensation?

Minnesota requires every employer to be liable to pay compensation in every case of personal injury or death of an employee arising out of and in the course of employment. Some entities that are not covered include: sole proprietorships, partnerships, closely held corporations, LLC`s, family farm operations, casual employees and household workers.
