There is a sevenday waiting period before any wage replacement benefits are paid. If your work related injury lasts longer than that time period, then benefits will begin. If the injury keeps you off of work for two weeks or more, then you will receive compensation for the first seven days excluding the day of injury.
In most cases, 662/3% of your average weekly wages will be paid. This amount is subject to the state minimum and maximum weekly wages allowed by law on the date of your injury.
