What is the minimum wage in Alabama?

The state of Alabama has no minimum wage law. The Federal minimum wage law would, therefore, apply to covered, non­exempt employees in the state of Alabama. The current Federal minimum wage is $5.15 per hour. Various minimum wage exceptions apply under specific circumstances to disabled workers, full­time students, youth under age 20 in their first 90 consecutive calendar days of employment, tipped employees and student­learners
