How Many Hours Of Pre-Licensing Education Are Required?
The Michigan Insurance Code requires 40 hours of course work for both the property/casualty and life/health license. However, if you wish to become licensed only for life insurance, 26 hours of education are required. Similarly, if you wish only to become licensed to deal in health insurance, 20 hours of course work are required.
