How Much Time Does The Company Have To Pay My Claim?

Your insurance policy specifies the time within which your claim must be either paid or denied. Usually you are required to submit a "Proof of Loss" which documents what you are claiming within 60 days of being requested to do so by the company. Once the Proof of Loss is filed, the insurer generally has 60 days to pay or deny your claim.
