When Does Accumulation Begin?
Producers with a continuation date of January 1, 2002 began the accumulation cycle January 2, 2000. Producers who do not have a 2002 continuation date must comply by January 1, 2003. The accumulation cycle for January 1, 2003 continuation began January 2, 2001. First time licensees have until their second continuation to comply with the CE requirement. The accumulation period for a first time licensee is the two years prior to their second license continuation period. Any credits earned prior to that time will not count toward the second continuation. Example: Licensee`s second continuation is January 1, 2002 accumulation period is January 2, 2000 January 1, 2002. Any credits earned prior to January 2, 2000 will not apply toward the January 1, 2002 license continuation.
