What Is A Dui? There Are Three Basic Types:

You have committed a basic, misdemeanor DUI in Arizona if you are driving a motor vehicle at a time that your ability to drive the vehicle is impaired by the slightest degree by alcohol, drugs, or any combination. It is also a misdemeanor DUI if you are driving a motor vehicle, regardless of your level of impairment, if your blood alcohol concentration (BAC) is over 0.08. The BAC is normally scientifically measured by a breath test, blood test, and/or urine test. The choice of the test or tests is left to the discretion of the police officer. The other normal misdemeanor DUI is a DUIdrug offense. In this case, there is normally no BAC, and possibly, no bad driving.
