Someone Owes Me Money And They Have Not Paid Me, What Can I Do?

If the person that owes you money does not pay you back after you request that they do, then you can file a lawsuit against them.  Depending upon how much money is owed you may be able to file a lawsuit in small claims court.  Usually, the dollar amount limit for small claims court is five to seven thousand dollars. This means that if you are owed more, then you can settle for the dollar amount limit or you can sue in regular court where there is no limit.
