Who Can The Collector Contact To Get Information?
The collector may contact other people to locate the debtor. The collector may only be allowed to contact third parties only once. The collector is not allowed to reveal the purpose of the information needed. If the debtor has an attorney the collector must only contact the attorney and does not usually is not allowed to pursue the other third parties for finding information. The collector can reveal the details to the attorney.
