What Is The Lemon Law Term Of Protection?

The term of protection is for the first two years or 24,000 miles from date of delivery, whichever ends first. It is during this term of protection that the reasonable number of repair attempts or number of days out of service, must have occurred.

However, be aware that notice of the problem must be given to the manufacturer within one year or 12,000 miles of date of delivery. It is during this initial time period that the first repair attempt or day(s) out of service due to repair must have occurred.

This term of protection may be extended by any amount of time during which repair services are unavailable due to war, strike, or natural disaster.
