When is the final paycheck due when an employee is fired?

By: LawInfo
When an employee is fired, the employer must give him or her a final paycheck for all earned but unpaid wages on the date that he or she is fired. However, an employee whose work is done at a location other than the employer’s administrative offices may not be entitled to a paycheck for twenty-four (24) hours after termination, and a seasonal employee may not be given a final paycheck for up to seventy-two (72) hours after termination.
