What are the rules on final paychecks in Arizona?

By: LawInfo
Typically, an employer must issue a final paycheck to an employee who has been terminated within three (3) business days of the employee’s last day of work, or on the next regularly scheduled pay date, whichever comes first. However, school districts have up to ten (10) days from the date of the employee’s discharge in order to issue the employee’s final paycheck. If an employee quits, however, the employer need not issue a final paycheck until the next regularly scheduled pay date.
