There Are Many Wild Dogs Running Loose In My Neighborhood. What Can I Do?

In counties with large populations of over two hundred thousand (200,000), it is the duty of the board of county commissioners to regulate dogs running at large. The board of county commissioners is authorized to build dog pounds, pens, and buildings as necessary to impound or dispose of the dogs. In addition, the board of county commissioners may establish rules and regulations allowing the humane killing or disposal of dogs that are contrary to the public good. If you have stray dogs running in your neighborhood, contact the local board of commissioners.
