Is It Illegal To Conceal A Strayed Animal?

Yes, concealing a strayed animal is equivalent to stealing it. Any person who conceals a strayed animal, or fails to comply with the law will be guilty of the felony of larceny of domestic animals and is punishable with three (3) to ten (10) years in a state penitentiary.
