Am I Liable For Damages If My Dog Bites A Person?

Yes. If without provocation, your dog attacks and injures a person who is in a rightful place, then the owner will be liable for all damages as a result of the attack. A rightful place could be at a public park, sidewalk, or even your own home. Damages are allowed even if the dog has never had a history of prior attacks.
