What Is A Co-Payment?

A copayment is the percentage payment that you must pay for each claim. In other words, you must share in the payment of the covered expenses up to a certain limit. The most common copayment arrangement is for the company to pay 80% and you pay 20%. Copayments usually apply to each claim filed.
