What is the potential liability in a medical malpractice case in Missouri?

Missouri defendants are potentially liable for all of the economic damages incurred by the plaintiffs. They are also jointly liable for up to $350,000 in noneconomic damages for things such as pain and suffering. Punitive damages are limited to $500,000 or 5 times the net amount of the judgment.
