What happens if a complaint is filed against me with the Georgia Composite State Board of Medical Examiners?

The Board will first determine whether the complaint is within its jurisdiction. Then the Board will conduct a thorough investigation by collecting information from both the complainant and the respondent doctor. The investigators can then recommend that the case be dismissed or the Board can hold a hearing on the complaint allegations.
