What Public Notice Requirements are There for a Real Estate Foreclosure in Louisiana?

Foreclosures in Louisiana occur through the court system. Once the judge issues either an order to foreclosure or a writ of seizure and sale then the foreclosure sale must be advertised for at least 30 days in order to make sure that the public is aware of the upcoming sale.
