What Public Notice Requirements are There for a Real Estate Foreclosure in Washington D.C.?

In order for a property to be foreclosed upon in Washington D.C., the lender must send a copy of the Notice of Sale to the Mayor’s Office at least 30 days prior to the foreclosure sale.
