Where and When do Foreclosure Sales Take Place in Colorado?

Colorado law requires that a foreclosure sale take place between 45 -60 days after the lender records the Notice of Election and Demand. The exact date and time of the sale is set in the Notice of Election and Demand. Unless the mortgage agreement indicates otherwise, the foreclosure sale takes place at the courthouse in the county where the property is located.
