In Georgia, Can a Spouse Give Up His or Her Right to Alimony in a Premarital Agreement?

Yes, spouses in Georgia may include modification or elimination of spousal support in their prenuptial agreement.   The Court may review that provision of the premarital agreement and modify it if it is unconscionable at the time of the parties’ divorce, however.
