Propecia Side Effects
Propecia, used to treat the thinning of hair on the top of the head, also called male pattern hair loss, causes many side effects. Some of these side effects have been disclosed and are: the inability to have or maintain an erection, decreased sexual desire, decreased volume of ejaculate (amount of semen), or pain in the testicles. Additionally, Propecia may also cause a rash, itching, hives, or swelling of the lips and face. However, the most serious side effect was announced by the FDA in June of 2011; Propecia causes an increased risk of high-grade prostate cancer. If you or a loved one took Propecia and developed prostate cancer, you may be entitled to compensation. To find out your legal options contact an experienced Propecia attorney today.
