How do I report bankruptcy fraud?
In order to make a report of suspected bankruptcy fraud, you should contact the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) by mail or e-mail. Your report should include the name and address of the person/business that you are investigating, the name of the bankruptcy case, case number, and bankruptcy court, a brief description of the fraud and any evidence in support of the fraud, and the type of asset or income that was not reported or underreported. You are not required to identify yourself, but your name and contact information is helpful should DOJ have additional questions for you regarding the alleged fraud.
