What Is Investing Lien Tax?
When a person or company does not pay their taxes they are given a second deadline to pay their taxes as well as late fees and sometimes they must also pay interest. If the taxes are not paid after the second deadline a tax lien certificate will be sold at auction. The person or company will owe the winning bidder a set amount of delinquent taxes at an interest rate set at auction.
