What are Grounds for Divorce in Oklahoma?
Oklahoma recognizes the following grounds for divorce: (1) abandonment for 1 year; (2) adultery; (3) impotency; (4) when the wife was pregnant by another man at the time of the marriage; (5) extreme cruelty; (6) fraudulent contract; (7) incompatibility; (8) habitual drunkenness; (9) gross neglect of duty; (10) imprisonment for a felony at the time the divorce complaint is filed; (11) The procurement of a final divorce decree from out of state; and (12) insanity.
