How Long After An Injury Do I Have To Report It To My Employer?
An employee should notify his or her employer immediately of any workrelated injury or occupational disease. The employee also should inform the treating physician that it is a workrelated injury so that the doctor may comply with the time limit requirement to file a first treatment medical report with the employer/insurer.
