How Do I Know If My Employer Is Covered By Workers' Compensation?

Employers with one or more fulltime or parttime employees are required by law to provide workers` compensation insurance coverage for their employees. A contractor who contracts out any work to a subcontractor is liable for coverage for all workers of the subcontractor unless the subcontractor has obtained workers` compensation insurance coverage.
