How Do I Determine Whether I Can Still Work After My Injury?

A doctor will determine whether you can return to work after your injury, or whether you will be temporarily or permanently prevented from performing the duties of your employment. The majority of jurisdictions will allow the employee to choose their own doctor who will make a decision about the ability to work after their injury. In other jurisdictions the employer will choose the physician that an injured employee must visit regarding an injury caused during the course of employment.
