Yes. If you find another's dog and that dog is licensed under the licensing laws in the state of Michigan you will be entitled to collect 25 cents per day for costs incurred in caring for the dog. Upon request the commissioner of agriculture will supply you with the owner's name and contact information so that you can arrange for the dog to be returned to its owner.
