Will We Have To Go To Arbitration?

Arbitration is not mandatory in the State of Georgia. The parties may agree to arbitration but the agreement cannot be made prior to the alleged act of malpractice and the claimant must be represented by an attorney. The findings of the arbitration panel are final, however, a party may appeal those findings.
