Who Must Report?
All Arkansas employers, including private, nonprofit or government agencies must report all employees who live or work in Arkansas. Federal and State agencies are exempt from new hire reporting if the head of the agency determines that reporting the new hire could endanger the safety of the employee or compromise an ongoing investigation or intelligence mission. This exemption does not apply to local or county employees.
