How Do I Renew My License?
A renewal application is sent to every licensee about two months prior to expiration date. A home state letter of certification is required to renew a nonresident license. All appointments are canceled the day after the renewal date if the license is not renewed. A licensee that fails to renew a license before the expiration date is entitled to reinstate that license for a period of one year from the renewal date but will be charged late/penalty fees. A licensee who fails to reinstate a canceled license within one year of the renewal date is required to apply for a new license as if they were a new applicant.
