Quality Legal Resources You Can Count On

I Just Recently Completed The Educational Requirements For Another State. Do I Still Have To Meet All The Pre-Licensing Educational Requirements In Oregon?

Current licensing in one of the states approved by the Oregon Insurance Division qualifies as one of a number of educational wavers available; however, this waver only applies to the life, health and general lines of insurance. If granted a waver, you will still be required to complete eighthours of education encompassing Oregon Insurance Laws & Regulations, and pass the corresponding examination. The licensees from the following states may be considered for this waver: Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, and Wyoming.
