What Are The Rights And Privileges Associated With A New York State Life Broker License?

Section 2104(b)(1)(A) of the New York State Insurance Code establishes the right for a licensee to perform the same services as a life, accident & health agent licensed pursuant to Section 2103(a). The license will authorize persons to solicit coverage in the lines for which they're qualified: life, accident and health, and variable annuities. The Life Broker represents the insured, while the life agent represents the insurer.
