Is It Possible To Get Temporary Licenses, Such As In The Case Of An Adjuster, During Times Of Crisis?

During times of crisis, the superintendent may issue a temporary permit for a term not exceeding 120 days. These permits are available to persons who intend to act as Independent adjusters on behalf of an authorizedinsurer. This is providing that the insurer executes and files a written application for the permit in the form described by the New York State Superintendent. The insurer shall certify that the person's name therein is qualified by adequate experience and training to adjust claims arising under insurance contracts issued by the insurer.
