What Are The General Application Procedures?
The general procedure for applying for a license is to register and pass the required examination and to submit a complete application package to the Georgia Insurance Department. Once the Insurance Department has processed a completed application package and received a passing examination score report, the Department will issue a license for a qualified candidate. If you have been issued a temporary license, you must send a copy of your 40 hour prelicensing course certificate along with your passing score report to the Insurance Department for Licensure.
