What happens if a complaint is filed against me with the Idaho State Board of Medicine?
First, the Committee on Professional Discipline will review all of the evidence presented by the complainant and the responding doctor. If the Board finds that there is a “provable pattern of unfavorable practice” then the Board may impose formal disciplinary action against the doctor. In isolated cases of misconduct, the Board may impose corrective actions such as further education on a doctor.
