What happens if a complaint is filed against me with the Alaska State Medical Board?
The complainant will contact either the Division of Occupational Licensing or the Alaska State Medical Board with a complaint against a physician, physician’s assistant, doctor of osteopathy, podiatrist or paramedic. The state will investigate whether the professional against whom the complaint was filed violated any laws or regulations and issue its findings, together with any penalties or corrective actions, to the complainant and the professional who is the subject of the complaint.
