My Girlfriend Is Pregnant And Wants To Put The Baby Up For Adoption. Do I Have Any Rights?

A man may be considered a putative father when he may be a child's father, but he is not married to the child's mother on or before the date that the child is born, or who has not established paternity after the child's birth.  A putative father must take steps to show that he is the legal father of that child in order to have any paternal rights, including the right to stop his child's adoption.
