Are There Defenses To Driving On A Suspended License?

There are two basic defenses to Driving on Suspended: (1) Did the police officer have the right to stop the motorist; and (2) did the driver know he was suspended. It is not a defense for one to get their license reinstated before the trial date but this is a very good idea.
