Can I Plea Bargain My Way Out Of A Dui?

In Oregon a DUII will never be pleabargained to a nonalcohol/controlled substance offense. The legislature has passed a law that makes such plea agreements unlawful. The prosecutor has no discretion to dismiss the DUII offense in exchange for a plea of guilt to a different offense. ORS 813.170
