What Is Driving While Impaired?
In order to be found guilty of driving while impaired (DWI) the state needs to prove that you drove while your coordination was substantially impaired by alcohol. If the state can prove that you had a .07 blood alcohol level, the state has made what is known as a "prima facie" case for DWI.
